Anita Arvast is a professor of literature and the humanities with the University Partnership Centre at Georgian College. She also serves as the coordinator of Liberal Arts and Sciences for degree programs at the college. As a member of the University Partnership Centre, she also teaches courses in English Literature for Laurentian University @ Georgian.
Her research interests lie in the intersections of critical theory, education, the humanities, and social justice. Most recently, she has turned her attention to writing about true crime and the justice system with her book about the Bandidos massacre (Bloody Justice: The Truth Behind the Bandidos Massacre at Shedden) due out internationally in March 2012, and a book about the Toronto Jane Creba murderĀ and trials in process.
